Dr. Wanique Peterson, DCDoctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Peterson is a 1998 graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and has been practicing chiropractic and educating patients for the last 18 years. She understands the questions patients have about their health and enjoys sharing resources to help them make informed decisions. Whether it is weight loss, stretching, ergonomics or nutrition, she believes every person has options to improve their present health state. In her spare time she enjoys healthy cooking, pilates, gardening and chasing her four boys and a daughter.
Dr. Sunshine Kahmann, DC, IBCLCDoctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Sunshine Kahmann is a chiropractor and board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). She is a graduate of St. Catherine University as well as Northwestern Health Sciences University and has been performing acupuncture and craniosacral therapy for over 17 years. Dr. Kahmann holds certificates in Graston and Webster Techniques, as well as a 48-Hour Nutrition Certificate and she is a registered medical examiner for DOT exams. Dr. Kahmann is a mother of three children and several pets who keep her running from one activity after another. In her spare time, she enjoys the solitude of a good book. In the past, Dr. Kahmann has served as a court advocate for victims of domestic violence, and she has had the privilege of serving as a doula for her patients and watching their babies being born. Over her career, she has also witnessed first-hand the restorative power of chiropractic and intense nutrition on chronic disease.
Dr.Josh HendersonD.C.Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Josh Henderson is our newest Chiropractor, graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN in January 2022. He attended Minnesota State University, receiving a B.S. in Exercise Science with a focus on Sports Medicine and worked as an Exercise Specialist prior to beginning NWHSU. Dr. Josh is trained in soft-tissue mobilization techniques, both manual and tool-assisted such as Cupping and Graston, as well as muscle-release techniques and rehab programs. His desire is to bring new evidence-based healthcare to a rural setting and to educate patients on ways to take control of their health. Dr. Josh and his wife Ashley live in Benson and are the proud parents of their first son Ace. He enjoys spending time with family, the rural community, and everything outdoors, including fishing, backpacking, and canoeing.
